Toy Story & Toy Story 2 in 3D!!!

When I heard that they were playing Toy Story AND Toy Story 2 (In 3D!!!) in theatres again, I probably about peed my pants. They are some of my favorite movies. I don’t say that jokingly, seriously I have them memorized. My brother gives me a hard time because I quote the entire movie even down to humming the background music.

So I was trying to figure out when I was going to have like 4 hours free that I could go.
I finally made plans with some of my girls to go see it.
It was the one thing I looked forward to all week long.
So Wednesday finally came, I had to work until 5 and was feeling kinda poorly (still had a cold) but as I told Alyssa I would have had to be dying to miss out.

We already made plans on who was bringing what, Lauren was in charge of drinks, Alyssa was in charge of buying popcorn. I had to bring cheez-its (because I don’t eat popcorn) and Rebeccah brought sour gummi worms.
We got there half an hour early because we wanted great seats, I was ready to take kids out if I needed to.
All the girls had their student ID’s, so the lady was like are you all students? Alyssa was like yeah we are (then looked back at us and was like don’t say anything) So for the first time in my life I got the student price.
It was the bext $11.50 I ever spent.
There were only like a dozen other people in the theatre.
I forgot how AWESOME those movies are (even though I watched them on DVD like a month ago)
The thing I was caught up in, was the dents in the drawers and walls. They could have tsken the easy way out and just don’t a straight up flat surface. And no one would have said anything. But the took the time and effort to do the job right. SO good.

  1. Katie, I know it's a line from a song but I have to say it, "don't ever lose that sense of wonder"

I love how you look at the world and even though things may be crappy, still, you find things to be SO excited about. It's a good lesson for all of us.
